Participating in activities is the perfect way for students to explore their interests and have fun in new ventures or to develop friendships with like-minded peers. Please check out our list of activities below.

Academic Decathalon

Preparing for this “Jeopardy-style” February competition develops thinking skills for all Tulare Union students.

After Games Dances

Dances after all home football and basketball games promote school spirit for all students within the school district with current ASB cards.

Associated Student Body (ASB) Leadership Class

Elected and appointed ASB officers and other interested students work throughout the school year to promote school spirit, involve the community, and improve relations between students. Activities include the Ice Breaker dance, all after-game dances, a canned food drive, a coat and sweater drive, a toy drive, Homecoming, Bell Week, Union Days, and many other events throughout the school year.

Bell Week Activities

Bell week activities are a weeklong celebration to promote school spirit for all Tulare Union students prior to the Bell Game.

Career Day

Career Day is an annual event that provides career information for junior students during the fall semester.

Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo is a recognition of Hispanic heritage during a May 5 celebration.

CyberQuest

CyberQuest is a student-centered, problem based learning activity designed to lead students to apply higher level thinking skills in an authentic public speaking arena. Students apply research skills to a standards-based, curriculum-oriented thematic project. The work culminates in a multimedia presentation before a panel of judges and a public audience.

Health Fair

Our health fair provides all Tulare Union students with information about healthy lifestyles, community services, and possible career pathways in the spring semester.

History Day Competition

Our History Day competition is an annual competition held in March that gives Tulare Union students a strong sense of history.

Homecoming Events

Homecoming events promote school spirit for all Tulare Union students in a weeklong celebration prior to the Homecoming game.

Intramural Noon Sports

Intramural noon sports offer friendly competition and fair play for all Tulare Union students, promoting strength and conditioning during the lunch break.

Mock Trial Competition

During the spring semester, Tulare Union students prepare and present a trial, in play fashion, from the perspectives of the prosecution and the defense.

This is for thespian students enrolled in drama or students who want to exhibit their special talents throughout the school year.

Science Olympiad Competition

The Science Olympiad is a friendly competition held in May to increase Tulare Union students’ interest and enthusiasm in the natural sciences.

Senior Honors Assembly

The senior honors assembly recognizes Tulare Union students with special awards and honors at the end of their senior year.

Union Days Celebration

Union Days promote school spirit and friendly competition for all Tulare Union students during a weeklong event in the spring semester.
