Our School
Tulare Union High School is one of seven schools in the Tulare Joint Union High School District, located in central California, about an hour north of Bakersfield. Our goal is for all Tulare Union High School students to pass the state high school exit exam and learn to utilize 21st Century skills and resources in a collaborative, project-based learning environment. We strive for all our students to be successful both in and out of the classroom.

Our vision is to create an exemplary school that serves all learners in a positive and caring learning environment by:

R - Respecting the diverse student population by developing and implementing a curriculum that best serves their individual needs.

Members of our tribe are empowered lifelong learners, effective communicators, and responsible global citizens. Tribe students graduating from Tulare Union High School will be able to demonstrate the ability to:
- Meet or exceed standards on the assessments utilized within the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress.
- Communicate, collaborate, and think critically and creatively in order to demonstrate 21st-century skills.
- Participate in a project-based learning environment to complete performance tasks of high quality.
- Demonstrate readiness for post-secondary college and career opportunities.
